  • What is the difference between a level and a sublevel?
A level corresponds to a general stage in learning a language, such as A1, A2, B1, etc. Each level is quite broad, so to make the goals clearer and more achievable, I have divided each level into smaller sub-levels. This makes it easier to measure your progress and set more precise goals. Each sub-level is also structured into 3 units, and each unit includes 3 lessons, providing a clear and structured framework for your learning.
  • How can I complete several modules in one training?
There are 5 levels of language proficiency. Each level includes modules, and you can complete 1, 2 or 3 modules in a single training. When you start your courses, you will be assigned a starting level and module. For example, B1.8 (level B1, module 8). With James, you establish the level and module you want to achieve at the end of the training. Each module includes 12 lessons of 50 minutes + additional activities. Here are some examples of possible training:
  • How is the number of courses in a training course determined?
The number of courses in each training is calculated based on the number of sub-levels you wish to complete. Each sub-level includes 9 courses. In addition, there is an introductory course to begin the training and a final course to assess your progress. For example, for a training that has 3 sub-levels, you will have 29 courses in total (3 x 9 courses + 2 additional courses).
  • How many sub-levels can I complete during a training?
After determining your current level, you set a clear goal: to progress by 2, 3 or 4 sub-levels during the training. This method allows you to stay focused and motivated. Once the goal is reached, you can choose to continue with a new training to progress further.
  • How do I determine my starting level and sublevel?
Before starting the courses, a language assessment will be carried out to evaluate your current level and identify your specific needs. This assessment allows us to determine precisely your starting point, so that we can focus the learning on the aspects that you still need to master, while avoiding reviewing the structures that you already know. This approach guarantees effective and personalized learning.
  • What will I do between classes?
Between classes, you will have two activities to do that reinforce the skills covered during the classes. The goal is to maintain daily immersion in the language and prepare the topics for the next class. If you do not complete your activities before the class, we will do them together during the next class. However, this means that we will continue to work on the same structures as the previous time, which will slow down your progress and prevent you from reaching your goal of completing a sub-level on time. To progress efficiently, it is important to do your activities between classes.
  • How does James adapt the lessons to my needs?
Adaptability to each trainee is implemented with the aim that the training meets the trainee's objectives. A level and needs assessment is carried out at the start of the training. During the training, role-playing and fun exercises are carried out. Thanks to this training, you will be able to acquire oral and written fluency which will allow you to travel and work without constraints.
  • What do we do during classes?
During classes, we typically begin with a discussion of your recent activities in the language you are learning, to review and consolidate what you have already learned. We then introduce new structures and vocabulary through thematic conversations. Each session is interactive and tailored to your needs, with a focus on oral practice to help you gain confidence. Classes are also an opportunity to review progress, adjust the curriculum if necessary, and strengthen your language immersion.
